Los Angeles Galaxy coach Bruce Arena will be in charge of the MLS All-Stars as they face Manchester United at Houston's Reliant Stadium on July 28th (8:30pm ET- ESPN). Javier Aguirre is no longer the coach of the Mexican National Team. Telling a press conference "I have to leave, it's the most honest thing to do," Aguirre has been in charge since April 3rd, 2009. He replaced Sven-Goran Eriksson. Aguirre has 59 caps as a member of the Mexican National Team from 1983-92 and coached them previously in 2001 and through the '02 World Cup. Eight games, all with MLS involvement, and one obvious highlight. For the last time as a lower division club, Portland hosts Seattle at PGE Park. You Week 13 Major League Soccer Player of the Week is Red Bulls forward Juan Pablo Angel. He takes the prize with two goals on Saturday in the 3-0 win over Kansas City. Angel scored in the 82nd minute and again in stoppage time. This is his first POTW award this season, and fourth all-time. . . .
