ESPN releases 2014 World Cup schedule


ESPN announced its 2014 World Cup broadcast schedule for the United States. The family of channels will show all 64 games live on ESPN, ESPN2, and ABC between June 12 and July 13. 43 of those games will be on ESPN, 11 on ESPN2, and 10 on ABC. The Colombia – Greece game on June 14 starts ABC’s network coverage. the July 13th final is also on ABC. The first game of the 2014 World Cup, Brazil – Croatia on June 12, will be on ESPN.

The USMNT Group G schedule is as follows:

6/26 11:30am ESPN USA – Germany Recife

Should the USMNT advance as either winners or runners-up in Group G, they will play on ESPN in the Round of 16. Should the USA win Group G and advance out of the Round of 16, they will play on ESPN2 on July 4. II f they advance out of the group as runners up and advance from the Round of a6, there quarterfinal would be on ABC on July 5th. both semifinals and the 3rd-place game are on ESPN.
