It was a night of first for several US National Team players, winning their first caps against Canada in a scoreless draw at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston. Justin Morrow, Tony Beltran, Matt Besler, Alfredo Morales, and Will Bruin all made their debuts at full National Team level. Both teams struggled to create chances, with the US dominating the possession but unable to threaten Canada’s goal. The United States regroups for their opening game in the final round of CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying on February 6th in Honduras (4pm ET – beIN Sport).
