USA 6 – Guatemala 0

The United States shutout Guatemala 6-0 in front of 25,080 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego on Friday night. Herculez Gomez opened the scoring with a 42nd minute goal. After drawing a penalty, Landon Donovan converted in the 54th minute for the 50th goal of his National Team career. Second-half substitute Chris Wondolowski made it 3-0 in the 72nd minute, scoring eleven minutes after entering the game. Donovan added a second goal in the 74th, scoring from the run of play. Clarence Goodson made it 5-0 USA in the 84th minute. Alejandro Bedoya finished off the scoring four minutes later. Nick Rimando recorded the clean sheet.
