MLS announced the full 23-player 2014 MLS All-Star Game roster to face Bayern Munich on August 6th in Portland. MLS previously announced the 11 players chosen through the fan voting. MLS All-Star coach Caleb Porter selected all of those 11 players for the playing squad. Porter added DC United goalkeeper Bill Hamid, Toronto FC designated player Jermain Defoe, and LA Galaxy forward Robbie Keane among other players.
MLS commissioner Don Garber added Portland Timbers midfielder Diego Valeri and Chivas USA forward Erick Torres with his two commissioner’s picks to complete the 23-player roster.
