USMNT 1 – Colombia 2

The USMNT lost to Colombia in an international friendly on Friday. The USMNT played host to Colombia at Craven Cottage in London. Jozy Altidore converted a penalty to put the USMNT up in the 10th minute. The USMNT won the penalty when the referee called a hand ball on Pablo Armero, a decision Colombia disagreed with.

Colombia equalized in the 60th minute with James Rodriguez setting up Carlos Bacca’s goal. Teofilo Gutierrez headed in Colombia’s winner in the 87th minute.

Rubio Rubin made his international debut for the senior USMNT squad, starting and playing 67 minutes. The USMNT plays Ireland in Dublin on Tuesday (2:30pm ET – ESPN2).
