Tuesday’s soccer TV schedule should be all about the second-legs in the Champions League. Instead, the FA Cup butts in with a Fifth Round replay on Fox Sports 2, with Arsenal on the road at Hull City. For anyone else looking for options other than Roma trying to come back against Real Madrid, the Copa MX is on Univision Deportes.
Real Madrid vs Roma at 2:30pm on Fox Sports 1 in the 2015-6 Champions League Round of 16. Real Madrid leads 2-0 and has the home advantage plus the away goals in the second-leg. That means a tough assignment for Roma, but they’ve had no problem scoring goals in Serie A. Since losing that opening leg to Real Madrid in Rome, Roma has scored 12 goals over three Serie A wins. The latest was a 4-1 win at home against Fiorentina on Friday. Unfortunately, since that first-leg Real Madrid has scored 11 goals of their own in Serie A, coming off of a ridiculous 7-1 win over Celta Vigo on Saturday. That included a hat-trick by Cristiano Ronaldo. Gareth Bale has six goals in four games, adding to the problems for an overmatched Roma.
Also in the Champions League Round of 16, Fox Deportes has Wolfsburg vs Gent at 2:30pm. Wolfsburg leads 3-2. FA Cup Fifth Round replay on Fox Sports 2: Hull City vs Arsenal at 3pm. Copa Libertadores on Fox Deportes: Emelec vs Olimpia at 5:30pm and Nacional vs Penarol at 745pm. Copa MX on Univision: Venados vs Atlante at 8pm and Juarez vs Leones Negros at 10pm. ESPN Deportes has Atlas vs Xolos at 10pm. All Times Eastern
