Geoff Cameron's Stoke City lost 2-1 at home to Chelsea in the Premier League. Trailing from the 13th minute, Jonathan Walters equalized from the penalty spot for Stoke City. Chelsea scored their winner in the 87th.
In the Championship, Danny Williams and Reading shutout Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 at Hillsborough. Yann Kermorgant scored in the 13th minute with Adrian Popa doubling the lead in the fifth minute of stoppage time. Tim Ream's Fulham lost 3-1 at home to Wolves. Trailing by two goals from the 47th, Dennis Odoi scored in the 54th. Wolves added a third goal in the 72nd minute.
Mexico, and Michael Orozco started and Paul Arriola subbed on at halftime for Tijuana's 1-1 draw with Jorge Villafana's Santos Laguna. Osvaldo Martinez put Santos up on the road in the 23rd. Tijuana went a man down in the 88th with a second yellow to Guido Rodriguez. Juan Lucero equalized three minutes into stoppage time.
Omar Gonzalez's Pachuca lost 3-0 at Queretaro. Edgar Castillo and Monterrey shutout Atlas 2-0 at home. Rogelio Mori scored in the 30th and 74th minutes.
