Wednesday's soccer TV schedule has more from the group stage kickoffs in the Champions League. Christian Pulisic's Borussia Dortmund open their Group H schedule at Wembley Stadium. Also from the Champions League, Real Madrid is at home on FS2. The Copa MX schedule continues on Univision Deportes and ESPN Deportes.
Spurs vs Borussia Dortmund in Champions League Group H on FS1 at 2:45pm. It's a tricky group for all involved with last season's champions Real Madrid also in Group H alongside APOEL. Penciling Real Madrid in as the likely winner doesn't take much in the way of prognostication, but Spurs and Dortmund won't be starting the group thinking 2nd-place is the goal. A road win would be huge for Dortmund, playing up their home field advantage and their Yellow Wall. Spurs might be at home, but Wembley is still a question mark as a club soccer stadium.
"We know how tough it will be," Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said. "Tottenham are a top team that have developed very well over the years. In addition, the club have the financial clout to fend off approaches for their best players. But we have a good team as well. It would be good if we could score there and, in an ideal-case scenario, get some points on the board. Because I think that our head-to-head record with Tottenham could prove important. I can't imagine that Real will finish in third place."
The other Group H game is on FS2: Real Madrid vs APOEL at 2:45pm. NASL on beIN Sport: Indy Eleven vs North Carolina at 7pm. Copa MX on ESPN Deportes: Atlante vs Puebla at 8pm and Juarez vs Santos Laguna at 10pm. Univision Deportes has Monterrey vs UNAM Pumas at 9:30pm. Copa Sudamericana on Fox Deportes: Barcelona vs Santos at 9pm. All Times Eastern
