Though most of the league is taking the international break off, there are still MLS games on the weekend soccer TV schedule. New York plays Vancouver on UniMas. The rest of the weekend schedule is all about World Cup qualifying and the U-17 World Cup.
New York Red Bulls vs Vancouver Whitecaps at 5pm on Saturday on UniMas. The Red Bulls hold the last playoff spot in the East, four points ahead of 7th-place Montreal and seven points behind 5th-place Columbus. Vancouver is the top team in the West with a four-point lead over Portland, Sporting KC, and Seattle. The Whitecaps are also the only team in the West to clinch a playoff spot.
