Bayern opened the scoring in the 16th minute, doubling the lead in the 37th. They were up 3-0 in the 67th. Marc Bartra pulled a goal back for Dortmund in the 88th minute.
"We didn't play like a top team today," Borussia Dortmund coach Peter Bosz said. "Bayern were clearly superior, especially in the first half. We were always chasing them and were too late. We were too far away from our opponents. Our intention at the outset had actually been to be very compact, but that didn't work – although we did have good chances. In the second period we then started to play and were closer, then it was a proper match. That's what we're capable of."

Jordan Smith kept the clean sheet for Forest.
Matt Miazga and Vitesse drew 0-0 at home with PEC Zwolle. Perry Kitchen and Randers shutout AGF Aarhus 1-0 at home. An 80th minute own-goal was the difference with Aarhus playing a man down from the 59th minute. Mix Diskerud's IFK lost 3-0 at home to GIF Sundsvall.
In Liga MX, William Yarbrough was in goal for Leon in their 2-1 loss at Tijuana. Leon took the lead when Juan Cornejo scored in the 17th minute. Ignacio Malcorra equalized from the penalty spot in the 72nd and Juan Lucero scored Tijuana's winner in the 79th. Tijuana failed to convert a penalty in the 79th. Joe Corona subbed on for Tijuana in the 77th.
