Back up in the Bundesliga, Christian Pulisic and Borussia Dortmund drew 4-4 with Weston McKennie's Schalke. Pierre Aubameyang put Dortmund up in the 12th with an own-goal doubling their lead in the 18th. Mario Gotze made it 3-0 in the 20th with Raphael Guerreiro scoring Dortmund's fourth in the 25th. McKennie subbed out in the 33rd minute. Schalke's unlikely away comeback started in the 61st when Guido Burgstaller scored. Amine Harit added a goal in the 65th and Daniel Caligiuri pulled Schalke within one in the 86th. Naldo split the points, equalizing four minutes into stoppage time.
