Big win for McKennie’s Schalke

The roundup of USMNT players in Europe and Mexico starts in the Bundesliga with Westin McKennie's Schalke winning 4-2 at Christian Pulisic's Borussia Dortmund. Andrew Wooten scored again for Sandhausen in their win a league down.

Mario Gotze scored for Dortmund in the 14th with Daniel Caligiuri equalizing from the penalty spot in the 18th. Salif Sane scored for Schalke in the 28th. Marco Reus saw red for Dortmund in the 60th. Caligiuri scored again in the 62nd. Dortmund saw another red card in the 65th with Marius Wolf exiting. Axel Witsel scored for Dortmund in the 84th. Schalke's Breel Embolo finished off the goals in the 86th. McKennie subbed out in the 76th minute with Pulisic subbing on in the 77th.

"We’re obviously happy about it, because we performed today," Schalke coach Huub Stevens said "A massive compliment to the team. I saw how concentrated we were going about it during training this week. The players put the tactical plans into effect very well and put in a good performance. Then a result like that comes about. Of course it was a little lucky. But when you win 4-2 in Dortmund, you can be very pleased as a Royal Blue."

It was another goal for Andrew Wooten in Sandhausen's 3-2 home win over Holstein Kiel. Falling behind in the 6th minute, Philipp Forster equalized in the 17th with Wooten scoring in the 22nd Holstein Kiel equalized in the 44th. Aleksandr Zhirov scored Sandhausen's winner in the 48th. Also in the 2. Bundesliga, Julian Green's Furth lost 2-1 at Magdeburg. Daniel Steininger scored for Furth in the 11th minute. Magdeburg equalized in the 16th and scored their winner in first-half stoppage time.

Emerson Hyndman subbed on in the 52nd minute for Bournemouth's 3-3 draw at Southampton.Trailing from the 12th minute, Dan Gosling equalized for Bournemouth in the 20th. Callum Wilson made it 2-1 Bournemouth in the 32nd. Southampton equalized in the 55th and went ahead in the 67th. Wilson equalized for Southampton in the 86th. Tim Ream's Fulham beat Cardiff City 1-0 at home. Ryan Babel scored in the 79th minute with Sergio Rico making eight saves to keep the clean sheet.

Geoff Cameron's QPR lost 1-0 at home to Nottingham Forest in the Championship. Forest scored in the 55th minute. Cameron Carter-Vickers's Swansea City drew 2-2 at home with Eric Lichaj's Hull City. Oliver McBurnie scored for Swansea in the 37th and 66th minutes. Jarrod Bowen pulled a goal back in the 77th with Nouha Dicko equalizing in the 84th.

Matt Miazga's Reading lost 2-1 at Middlesbrough. Danny Loader scored for Reading in the 11th with Boro equalizing in the 31st. Boro converted a penalty in the 39th minute. Antonee Robinson had an assist in Wigan Athletic's 1-1 draw at Birmingham City. Trailing from the 2nd minute, Nick Powell equalized for Reading in first-half stoppage time.

Ethan Horvath was in goal for Club Brugge's 1-0 home win over Anderlecht in the Belgian Pro League. Wesley Moraes scored in the 75th minute with Horvath keeping the clean sheet. Romain Gall subbed on in the 81st minute for Malmo's 1-1 draw at Norrkoping. Guillermo Molins scored for Malmo in the 4th with Norrkoping equalizing a minute later. Jonathan Bornstein's Maccabi Netanya shutout Beer-Sheeva 2-0 on the road. Guy Melamed scored in the 29th and Eylon Yerushalmi added a goal in the 50th. Mix Diskerud subbed out in the 89th minute for Maccabi Netanya's 2-0 home win over Gyeongnam. Junior Negrao scored in the 39th and Kim In-sung in the 80th. Oh Seung-hoon kelt the clean sheet.

Omar Gonzalez's Atlas lost 1-0 at Pachuca with red cards in the 7th and 31st minutes. Pachuca scored in the 47th. A league down, Rubio Rubin subbed on in the 58th minute for Dorados in their 2-0 win at Mineros de Zacatecas. Fabian Bordagaray scored in the 66th with Jorge Cordoba doubling the lead in the 82nd. Mineros saw red in the 88th.
