RB Leipzig loses DFB Pokal final

The roundup of USMNT players outside of MLS starts with Germany's cuo final. Tyler Adams's RB Leipzig lost 3-0 to Bayern Munich in the DFB Pokal final at Berlin's Olympiastadion. Bayern Munich scored in the 29th, 78th, and 85th minutes.

"The disappointment is immeasurable because we didn't need to lose the game," RB Leipzig coach Ralf Rangnick said. "We were dominant for 30 minutes and only failed to take the lead. We then conceded and we lost our heads a bit. We created three huge chances. We didn't take them and then things got difficult. It was an even contest, however. That makes the defeat even harder to stomach. Still, we can be very proud looking back on this season. We qualified for the Champions League with four games to spare, beat three Bundesliga teams on our way to Berlin this evening, and had a remarkable final."
