2026 World Cup prize money

FIFA announced the prize money for the 2026 World Cup on December 17, 2025, noting that the total amount of $665m is a 50% increase from the 2022 World Cup. With the number of teams in the 2026 edition increasing from 32 to 48, most of that increase is due to the expanded field. Here is the prize money for the 2026 World Cup.
