Robbie Findley

5' 9"

Biography of USMNT soccer player Robbie Findley who spent time with Nottingham Forest and now plays for Real Salt Lake.
Caps: 11

Robbie Findley was called into camp for Trinidad & Tobago’s U23 National Team, and was not part of the USMNT youth soccer teams.  He was also a strong regional player for Oregon State in college, not breaking into the national awards picture, but honored by the Pac-10 Conference.

Drafted by Los Angeles in 2007, Findley played all of three months for the club before being traded to Real Salt Lake as part of the Chris Klein deal. He played well for an under performing team, scoring five goals in 15 games, and two in nine games for the Galaxy.

An outside candidate for MLS Rookie of the Year in 2007, Findley made his USMNT debut coming on in the final minute of the 1-0 exhibition win in Switzerland in October, 2007. His strong play at MLS level got him a call-up to the 2010 National Team camp. He took full advantage, making the squad and becoming Jozy Altidore’s strike partner in South Africa. After choosing not to re-sign with Major League Soccer, Findley was picked up by Nottingham Forest in late December, 2010. He returned to MLS and Real Salt Lake for the 2013 season. Findley joined Toronto FC in 2015, switching to the NASL’s Rayo OKC in 2016.
