Eddie Robinson

USMNT defender Eddie Robinson’s bio, international cap and debut goal, and MLS career as a hard‑tackling center back for the San Jose Earthquakes and Houston Dynamo, highlighting his role in three MLS Cup titles and his post‑retirement work in the Dynamo front office
Caps: 1 | Goals: 1

Eddie Robinson spent his entire professional career with one organization, following the club from San Jose to Houston when the Earthquakes relocated. A fierce competitor and committed teammate, he built his reputation on intensity, physicality, and a willingness to throw himself into every challenge.

That approach paid off. Robinson won four MLS Cup titles—two with San Jose and two with Houston—and became one of the league’s most respected no‑nonsense center backs. In January 2008, Robinson was called into USMNT camp. He made the most of it, scoring on his debut, smashing home a loose ball from a corner in a 2–0 U.S. win.

He retired in 2011 and now works in the Houston Dynamo front office.
