USMNT, USMNT Match Reports

USMNT 2 – Panama 0, international friendly

The USMNT beat Panama 2-0 in Austin to open the October international window. Yunus Musah scored in the 49th and Ricardo Pepi doubled the lead four minutes into stoppage time. Matt Turner kept the clean sheet with three saves. The United States closes out the window on Tuesday at Mexico (10:30pm ET – TNT).

“It was a tough game,” USMNT defender Antonee Robinson told TNT Sports. “Credit to Panama, they made it really difficult for us to play at times. They were really physical. But I feel like in this period where we’re starting to learn the new coach’s ideas and what not, that we executed pretty well.”
