Djordje Mihailovic arrived on the USMNT scene in 2019, scoring a goal in his debut in a 3-0 win over Panama that January and taking part in that year’s Gold Cup. A product of the Chicago Fire academy, he played for his hometown club for four seasons, then made a career breakthrough with CF Montreal after a trade in December of 2020. Thriving as a playmaker capable of working both wide and centrally, Mihailovic notched four goals and 16 assists for the Canadian club in 2021, the latter a new club record, then led CFM to their best-ever MLS season in 2022 with nine goals and six assists. A move to the Netherlands to join AZ Alkmaar followed that winter and he earned five USMNT caps in 2023, scoring his second and third senior international goals in a Gold Cup group-stage win over St. Kitts and Nevis. On January 8, 2024 Mihailovic returned to MLS with the Colorado Rapids.

Subbed on in the Jun 24 Gold Cup game against Jamaica and started against St. Kitts and Nevis on Jun 28, scoring twice. Started the Jul 2 game against Trinidad and Tobago, against Canada in the quarterfinals on Jul 9, and against Panama in the semifinals on Jul 12.

Debuted and scored against Panama on Jan 27. Started against Costa Rica on Feb 2, against Jamaica on June 5. Named to the 2019 Gold Cup squad and subbed on against Guyana on June 18, and started against Panama on June 26.

Spent the first half of the season with AZ. Signed with Colorado on Jan 8, 2024. Played in 29 games for the Rapids, finishing 7th and exiting the playoffs in Round One.
2022-23
Announced a move to AZ Alkmaar in Aug, finishing the MLS season with Montreal and officially completing the transfer on Jan 1, 2023. Made 20 appearances for AZ in league, cup and UEFA Conference League play, scoring one goal and one assist as AZ finished 4th in the Eredivisie.
2022
Appeared in 34 matches for Montreal across league, postseason and Concacaf Champions League play, scoring 12 goals and seven assists as the club finished second in the MLS Eastern Conference and third overall.
2021
Traded from Chicago to Montreal on Dec 17, 2020. Appeared in 35 league and cup games for Montreal, scoring four goals and 16 assists, the latter a new club record, as Montreal finished 10th in the MLS Eastern Conference and won the Canadian Championship.

Youth and College
Played youth soccer for Chicago Blast before joining the Chicago Fire academy in 2013. Father, Aleks, played in the old NASL for the Washington Diplomats and Jacksonville Tea Men before becoming an A-licensed coach.
