The USMNT picked up a point in the Hexagonal round of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying, drawing 1-1 away to Panama.

WCQ: Panama 1 – USMNT 1

Panama and the USMNT split the points in Panama City, drawing 1-1 in CONCACAF World Cup qualifying. The USMNT and Panama traded first-half goals. Christian Pulisic weaved his way through the Panama box to find Clint Dempsey in the 39th minute. Panama equalized four minutes later through Gabriel Gomez.

The USMNT is in 4th-place in the Hexagonal table, tied on points with 5th-place Honduras. They trail 3rd-place Panama by a point.

Elsewhere in CONCACAF World Cup qualifying, Honduras and Costa Rica finished 1-1 at Estadio Francisco Morazan. Antony Lozano put Honduras up in the 35th minute with Kendall Watson equalizing in the 68th.

Mexico added three more points to the top of the Hexagonal table with a 1-0 win at Trinidad & Tobago. Diego Reyes scored in the 58th minute at Hasely Crawford Stadium. Alfredo Talavera kept the clean sheet.

In Gold Cup qualifying, Nicaragua stormed back to take the final Group B spot with a 3-0 shutout of Haiti to advance 4-3 on aggregate. Juan Barrera made the difference for Nicaragua, scoring all three goals.
