USMNT roster for June 2017 games

UPDATE: Timmy Chandler withdrew due to injury on May 30.

The USMNT has three games on the June 2017 schedule, a friendly and two World Cup qualifiers. The USMNT plays Venezuela on June 3 at Rio Tinto Stadium (10pm ET – FS1) in an international friendly. The USMNT returns to World Cup qualifying on June 9 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park against Trinidad & Tobago (7:50pm – FS1) and is away to Mexico on June 13 (8:30pm – FS1). USMNT camp begins on May 28 in Denver.

“I think we have a good group, and in my case I’m still in the early goings with this team and I haven’t seen all of our players,” USMNT coach Bruce Arena said. This camp gives me the opportunity to see six new faces we haven’t had in with the team yet – Brad Guzan, Timmy Chandler, Fabian Johnson, Ethan Horvath, Bobby Wood and DeAndre Yedlin – which is good. It’s also great that we’re able to bring back 21 players that have been in with our program already in 2017. There’s some continuity there as well as the fact that we’re getting to see some new faces, which is important.”
