The USMNT lost to Mexico 1-0 in the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup final at Soldier Field in Chicago. Jonathan dos Santos scored in the 73rd minute.

Mexico 1 – USMNT 0

The 2019 Gold Cup ended at Chicago’s Soldier Field on Sunday with Mexico lifting the trophy in a 1-0 win over the USMNT. Jonathan dos Santos scored the game’s only goal in the 73rd minute with Guillermo Ochoa keeping the clean sheet. Christian Pulisic won the best young player award for the tournament with the USMNT winning the Fair Play award.

The USMNT will reconvene for the September friendlies before beginning Nations League play in October.
