Bio of USMNT player Tyler Adams who plays his club soccer for Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Caps: 42 | Goals: 2
Tyler Adams is a product of the New Jersey Red Bulls, connecting him to the parent club’s holdings in Europe. That would eventually work in Adams’s favor, with the standout MLS midfielder moving to RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga during the 2019 January window. It was no surprise, with Adams showing he is an elite player for his club and taking advantage of his USMNT opportunities. Adams won the DFB Pokal with Leipzig in 2021-22. He moved to Leeds United in the Premier League for the 2022-23 season and was named US Soccer Male Player of the Year for 2022. Adams joined Bournemouth in August 2023.
“Receiving this type of recognition is certainly special, but for me the team’s success is the most important thing,” Adams said on winning the 2022 US Male Player of the Year award. “Having the experience of going to the World Cup, performing well as a group and moving the sport forward in the United States was super important to me this year, and I couldn’t have done it without my teammates.”
Played for Clifton High School in New Jersey and was a member of the Red Bulls academy.
