Yunus Musah was part of Arsenal’s academy program and England’s youth setup. Appearing for England at youth international level for the U-15, U-16, U-17, and U-18 squads, Musah was also eligible for the United States along with Italy and Ghana. Joining Valencia in La Liga for the 2019-20 season, he opted for the USMNT during the November, 2020 international window. Musah made that decision official in March, 2021. He became cap-tied to the USMNT when he started in the October 7, 2021 World Cup qualifier against Jamaica. A member of the 2022 World Cup squad, he won the US Soccer Young Male Player of the Year award. Musah transferred to AC Milan in August, 2023.
