Yunus Musah was part of Arsenal’s academy program and England’s youth setup. Appearing for England at youth international level for the U-15, U-16, U-17, and U-18 squads, Musah was also eligible for the United States along with Italy and Ghana. Joining Valencia in La Liga for the 2019-20 season, he opted for the USMNT during the November, 2020 international window. Musah made that decision official in March, 2021. He became cap-tied to the USMNT when he started in the October 7, 2021 World Cup qualifier against Jamaica.

2022: Started in the World Cup qualifier against El Salvador on Jan 27 and Canada on Jan 30. Started against Mexico on Mar 24 and Panama on Mar 27. Started against Costa Rica on Mar 30.
2021: Started and picked up an assist against Jamaica on Mar 25 and started against Northern Ireland on Mar 28. Subbed on against Switzerland on May 3. Part of the Nations League squad but did not play. Started against Costa Rica on Jun 9. Started against Jamaica on Oct 7, Panama on Oct 10, and Costa Rica on Oct 13 in World Cup qualifying. Started against Mexico on Nov 12. Started against Jamaica on Nov 16.
2020: Started against Wales on Nov 12 and against Panama on Nov 16.

Professional Experience

2020-21: Appeared in 32 La Liga games for Valencia, finishing 13th.
2019-20: Signed with Valencia, making 17 appearances for their reserve team in the second division.
