USMNT roster for Costa Rica friendly
USMNT coach Jurgen Klinsmann made changes to to the roster for the second game in the October international window. Following the 3-2 loss to Mexico in the Confederations Cup playoff, Klinsmann released eight MLS players back to their clubs, calling up five players.
DaMarcus Beasley, Kyle Beckerman, Matt Besler, , Michael Bradley, Clint Dempsey, Nick Rimando, Graham Zusi, and Chris Wondolowski leave prior to Tuesday’s game against Costa Rica at Red Bull Arena. Joining the USMNT are Mix Diskerud (New York City FC), Bill Hamid (DC United), Lee Nguyen (New England Revolution), Brek Shea (Orlando City SC), and Andrew Wooten (Sandhausen). Klinsmann will use a 21-player squad against Costa Rica. Since this is a friendly and not a competitive game, he will be able to use six substitutes.
