USMNT roster for March 2018 friendly
Interim USMNT coach Dave Sarachan announced the 22 player roster for the March 27 friendly against Paraguay in Cary, NC. Sarachan’s selections focus on young players mainly from European clubs.
“This match once again represents an opportunity for some new faces,” Sarachan said in a press statement. “The roster has an average age under 24, so for the most part this is a group of younger players that we feel have a future with the National Team along with some familiar names. The timing is right to give these guys international exposure, and they will certainly be tested against a strong and experienced Paraguayan team.”
UPDATE: Sarachan added Pachuca midfielder Kekuta Manneh to the squad on March 19, bringing the total number of players in camp to 23.
