USMNT roster for September 2018 friendlies
UPDATE: Marky Delgado replaced Sebastian Lletget prior to the Brazil game. John Brooks left following the Brazil game.
USMNT interim coach Dave Sarachan named 24 players to face Brazil and Mexico in the September friendlies. The USMNT plays Brazil at MetLife Stadium on September 7 (7:30pm ET – FS1) and Mexico in Nashville on Sept 11 (8:30pm ET – ESPN).
“For these matches against Brazil and Mexico, the theme remains the same in that we are using the opportunity against these high-powered opponents to continue building on the foundation that we’ve laid,” Sarachan said. We felt it was right to continue allowing this group to get valuable experience for the big picture that includes competitive matches in the future with the Gold Cup, Olympic Qualifying and World Cup Qualifying.
