USMNT 1 – Canada 0

The USMNT took the top spot in group B and now waits for group C to conclude on Tuesday. They play the 2nd-place finisher after beating Canada 1-0 on Sunday in Kansas City. Shaq Moore scored in the opening minute with the USMNT holding onto that early lead. US goalkeeper Matt Turner made three saves to keep the clean sheet, denying Canada late as they pushed for the equalizer. USMNT captain Walker Zimmerman subbed out with an injury in the 15th minute while Daryl Dike remained in the game with a late shoulder knock.

In the other group B game, Haiti beat Martinique 2-1 to finish in 3rd-place. Neither team could advance after the second matchday. Ricardo Ade gave Haiti the lead in the 61st with Martinique’s Patrick Burner seeing red in the 78th minute. Haiti finished with three points and a -3 goal differential while Martinique exits the Gold Cup with no points and a -9 goal difference.
