USMNT roster for Chile and Panama soccer friendlies

USMNT coach Jurgen Klinsmann picked 23 players from the January camp for the international soccer friendlies against Chile and Panama. The USMNT plays Chile in Rancagua on January 28 (6pm ET – Fox Sports 1). They return to the Los Angles area to play Panama at StubHub Center on February 8 (4pm ET – ESPN). Klinsmann released six players from the January camp to finalize his game rosters, adding new Spurs player DeAndre Yedlin.

“These guys have put in a lot of work these past two weeks of training for what is essentially their preseason, and now it’s time to focus on getting a result against a difficult opponent in Chile,” Klinsmann said in a press statement. “We know it’s going to be a challenging situation, but these are the types of opportunities we need to keep growing.”

Kllinsmann released U-23 age eligible players Tesho Akindele (FC Dallas), Alex Bono (Toronto FC), Christian Dean (Vancouver Whitecaps FC), Dennis Flores (Club Leon) Julio Morales (Tepic), and Oscar Sorto (LA Galaxy). Liverpool midfielder Marc Pelosi rejoins the squad when they return from Chile.
