Cuba 0 – USMNT 4

In an odd environment in the Cayman Islands in front of a tiny crowd, the USMNT advanced to the Concacaf Nations League knockout round with a 4-0 win over Cuba. Josh Sargent got credit for the opening goal less than a minute into the game, with a scrum in front of the net ending with the ball crossing the line. Jordan Morris doubled the lead in the 26th minute. Morris scored again in the 39th minute. Sargent added a goal in the 66th minute. Brad Guzan kept the clean sheet.

The USMNT advances to June’s championship round with Honduras, Mexico, and Costa Rica. They will play Honduras in the semifinals with Mexico needing a stoppage time winner at home against Bermuda to advance as the top group stage finisher. Concacaf has not announced where they will play those games.
