The USMNT returned to form in the Nations League, beating Canada 4-1 at Exploria Stadium in Orlando with goals from Jordan Morris, Gyazi Zardes, and Aaron Long.

USMNT 4 – Canada 1

The USMNT put themselves in position to advance from Nations League A, Group A with a 4-1 win over Canada in Orlando. Canada is still top of the table with 9 points to the USMNT’s 6, but this was Canada’s final game. The USMNT concludes the Group A schedule at Cuba in the Cayman Islands on Tuesday (7:30pm ET – FS1). A win against Cuba would send the USMNT through to the semifinal round.

Jordan Morris opened the scoring for the USMNT in the 2nd minute, assisting on Gyasi Zardes’s goal in the 23rd. Tim Ream setup Aaron Long’s goal in the 34th minute. Canada’s Steven Vitoria pulled a goal back in the 72nd, but Zardes scored again in the 89th minute.
