USMNT 3 – Bolivia 0

The USMNT returned to action on Monday, playing Bolivia in an out of window friendly in Chester, PA. That meant a lot of young players for both teams without much international experience. That ended up working to the USMNT’s advantage. Walker Zimmerman headed in his first goal for the USMNT to open the scoring in the 37th minute. Josh Sargent scored on his USMNT debut in the 52nd. Tim Weah scored his first goal for the USMNT in the 59th minute. Alex Bono kept the clean sheet for the USMNT.

“We’re a group of guys who came together as a team,” USMNT interim coach Dave Sarachan said. “That’s what these games are all about. You hope the next time these guys are in these situations, this becomes an experience they can draw on.”
